Tasting Notes

Nose: Citrus and spice up front, orange blossom and lemon, honey and vanilla with a touch of oak.

Palate: Rich and fruity, honey sweetness meeting cardamom and pepper, a bit of pine and cinnamon.

Finish: Long and peppery, with vanilla and oak carrying it out.

Distillery Information

Zuidam Distillers has been family-run since Fred van Zuidam started it in Baarle-Nassau back in 1975. His wife, Hélène, built the brand's look, and their sons, Patrick and Gilbert, now run production. It's one of the last distilleries still doing everything in-house the traditional way, and Millstone 100 Rye is their flagship pour.
