Pinhook Bohemian Bourbon marks a defining moment for the brand, being the first bourbon distilled entirely at Castle & Key, the historic Kentucky site lovingly restored by Pinhook’s founders.  Bourbon Brothers are very fortunate to be the sole stockiest of what has become one of their finest releases.

Pinhook Bohemian is a small batch straight bourbon was crafted in 2020  from a mash bill of 75% corn, 15% rye, and 10% malted barley. This bourbon is bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV) and shows impressive depth for its youthful age. It’s expressive, elegant, and shows the promise of Castle & Key’s distillation, making it a standout in the Pinhook lineup.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Warm baking spices like cinnamon and clove
Hints of orange zest, dried apricot, and toasted almond
Subtle vanilla and floral undertones

PALATE: Bright and vibrant entry with bursts of citrus peel and caramel Balanced notes of spiced honey, toffee, and light charred oak Layered complexity with hints of cherry, herbal rye, and a touch of leather

FINISH: Medium-long with a warm, spicy fades, Vanilla bean, pepper, and gentle wood tannins linger
