Stagg Barrel Proof Batch "25B Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Subscriber Price: $169 (RRP $199)

Kentucky Straight Bourbon | Buffalo Trace Distillery · Frankfort, Kentucky  ·  63.45% ABV ·   Barrel Proof  ·  750ml

Stagg is renowned as one of the best bourbons on the market. Bourbon Brothers have secured bottles at a one-off subscriber discount.

Stagg is the barrel-proof bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, Kentucky, and Batch 25B is the second release of 2025. It’s bottled straight from the barrel at 63.45%, uncut and unfiltered, so what’s in the glass is pretty much what came out of the wood.

Think of it as the younger sibling of George T. Stagg. Around eight years in new charred American oak gives you big caramel, brown sugar and vanilla, with dark cherry, chocolate and plenty of charred oak behind it. It’s a strong pour, no question, but it’s rich and well put together. Once known as Stagg Jr., it dropped the “Jr.” a few years back, and it’s still one of the hardest Buffalo Trace bottles to get hold of.

Who this bottle is for
  • Bourbon and rye drinkers who want a curated monthly bottle without hunting for it themselves
  • Anyone who wants to build genuine knowledge of American whiskey styles over time
  • Gifting: a subscription makes a strong ongoing gift for a whiskey drinker
  • Drinkers who want access to limited releases and private barrel picks not available at retail
Why we curate it

We built this club because the best American whiskey rarely makes it to Australian bottle shops at fair prices. Each month's selection is chosen for a reason — whether that's rarity, value, or a style our members haven't tried yet. The goal is to give subscribers genuine access to bottles worth drinking, with the knowledge to back it up.
