About the distillery

Tequila Fortaleza is one of the denomination's most compelling arguments for the value of tradition, produced at a distillery that has been part of the Sauza family since 1873. Owned and operated by Guillermo Erickson Sauza, the great-great-grandson of Don Cenobio Sauza, the man widely credited with founding the modern tequila industry.

Fortaleza is made at La Perseverancia, at the original family distillery in the town of Tequila, Jalisco, using a production method that has changed little since the nineteenth century.

The relationship between producer and grower is direct and longstanding, consistent with the small-batch, artisanal character of the operation as a whole.

Choose between two options: our Tasting Pack with four 50ml samples, or upgrade to the Full Bottle option, which includes one full-size bottle plus three complementary samples. Both subscriptions offer flexibility to swap selections based on your preferences.

How does the monthly subscription work?

On the 20th of each month, we'll send you our curated selection via newsletter. Love what we've chosen? Simply wait for your delivery in two weeks.

Want to swap bottles, adjust your pack, or pause your subscription? Just let us know through your portal by the 30th—no cost to make changes.
