Penelope Estate Collection Private Select 10 Year Bourbon is Penelope's blending team let loose on the good stuff. Instead of pulling from one barrel, this one's a blend of hand-selected barrels from the rickhouses at Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, each left alone for a full 10 years before anyone touched them.

This blend runs on Penelope's four grain mash bill: 74% corn, 20% rye, 5% malted barley, 1% wheat, bottled at 106.8 proof (53.4% ABV). It's part of Penelope's 2025 Estate Collection, an annual line up built around barrels aged well past the brand's usual 4 to 6 years, with Private Select set up to be the changeable one of the bunch, a different blend every year.

Distillery Information

Penelope Bourbon kicked off in 2018, when mates Mike Paladini and Danny Polise named it after Mike's daughter. The whiskey is distilled at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, one of the country's oldest working distilleries, dating back to 1847. MGP Ingredients bought Penelope in 2023, but the founders are still running the show and still hunting down standout barrels. The Estate Collection is where that hunt shows up most, a yearly release of long-aged, hand-selected barrels the team decided were too good to blend into anything else.
