Distillery Information

Penelope Bourbon kicked off in 2018 when mates Mike Paladini and Danny Polise set out to build a brand around celebrating life's moments, big and small, naming it after Mike's daughter. The whiskey is distilled at the Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, one of the oldest working distilleries in the country, dating back to 1847. MGP Ingredients bought Penelope in 2023, but the founders are still running the show and still hunting down standout barrels. The Estate Collection is where that hunt shows up most, a yearly release of long aged, hand selected barrels the team decided were too good to blend into anything else.
