Lagavulin 8 Year Old is a big, smoky Islay dram from one of the island's oldest working distilleries. It started out as a one-off to mark Lagavulin's 200th anniversary in 2016, but it sold so well the distillery kept it on as a permanent release. Bottled at full strength (48%) and matured only in refill American oak casks, it gives you the classic Lagavulin peat and smoke in a younger, punchier package.

Lagavulin has been making whisky on the south coast of Islay since 1816, one of the island's oldest working distilleries. It's owned by Diageo and best known for its 16 Year Old. The 8 Year Old was put together to mark 200 years of production and proved popular enough to become a regular part of the range.
