This private release shows off Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, showing Jack at its best, boldest and darkest. Their Master Distiller hand-picked this barrel out of thousands for Bourbon Brothers. It came from the top tiers of the Jack Daniel's rickhouses, where the heat pushes the most flavour into the whiskey. It's bottled at full barrel strength, 62.5% ABV, with no chill filtering and no added colour.

With single-barrel releases like gold dust, this is one Jack that won’t make it to your local bottleshop. Expect spiced banana bread, bursts of orange sherbet, toasted almonds and melted dark chocolate. If you know your Jack, this is as good as it gets. Distillery Information

Every drop of Jack Daniel's is made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and filtered through sugar maple charcoal before it goes into new charred oak. For the Single Barrel range, barrels are hand picked one at a time and bottled on their own. This barrel proof version skips the final step of adding water, so you get the whiskey at the strength it came out of the barrel. Barrel proof Single Barrel runs anywhere from 125 to 140 proof depending on the barrel, and this one landed at 62.5% ABV.
