Distillery Information

Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, formerly known as MGP, has one of the deepest whiskey inventories in the country. George Remus was a real lawyer turned bootlegger who exploited Prohibition-era loopholes to build a legal whiskey empire, and the Repeal Reserve series commemorates the 1933 repeal of Prohibition. Each year, master distiller Ian Stirsman blends well-aged bourbons from that inventory to build the next release, using the series to show off what the distillery can do with age and blending rather than a new mash bill.
