Overview

Traveller Whiskey is a joint effort between Buffalo Trace's master distiller Harlen Wheatley and musician Chris Stapleton, built as Blend No. 40 after the pair worked through more than 50 custom blends to land on the final mix. It's a mixed grain blended whiskey, made to be easy drinking without cutting corners on flavour.

Bottled at 90 proof, it's smooth and approachable whether you're new to whiskey or already have a shelf full of favourites. It's also the first ever official whiskey of Major League Baseball, so it's picked up a fair bit of attention beyond the usual whiskey crowd.

Traveller Whiskey comes out of Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, one of the most awarded distilleries in the world. It's a genuine collaboration between master distiller Harlen Wheatley and Chris Stapleton, built from the ground up rather than slapping a celebrity name on an existing bottle.

The name Blend No. 40 marks how many trial blends it took to land on the final recipe, a mixed grain whiskey designed to be easy to drink without losing character.
