Overview
Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon | Barton 1792 Distillery, Bardstown, Kentucky · 49.3% ABV (98.6 Proof) · 750ml

1792 Single Barrel is the bigger, more characterful sibling of the standard 1792 Small Batch. Every bottle is drawn from a single, hand-selected barrel, which means no blending and no smoothing things over. What's in the barrel is what ends up in your glass.

Bottled at 98.6 proof with the same high-rye mash bill the 1792 range is known for, it brings deep caramel, vanilla, and oak with a proper kick of rye spice. A solid step up for anyone moving past the usual shelf bottles and after a bourbon with real backbone.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak with rye spice and a hint of dried fruit.

Palate: Deep caramel and vanilla up front, followed by a solid kick of rye spice, oak, and a touch of pepper. The higher proof gives it real weight without overdoing it.

Finish: Long and warming. Spice and oak hang around with a clean, dry close.
