Longbranch is Wild Turkey's collaboration between master distiller Eddie Russell and actor Matthew McConaughey. It starts as Wild Turkey's standard 8 year old bourbon, then gets a second run through charcoal, first American white oak, then Texas mesquite, before going in the bottle. That extra step is what sets it apart from the rest of the Wild Turkey range.

Smoother and sweeter than many of Wild Turkey's other bottles, with just a hint of mesquite smoke. Easy to drink and easy to recommend.

Distillery Information

Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, has been making bourbon under the Russell family since the 1950s. Longbranch came about when Matthew McConaughey, Wild Turkey's creative director, teamed up with master distiller Eddie Russell to build something new.

McConaughey brought Texas mesquite into the mix, and the finished bourbon gets filtered through it after already passing through American white oak charcoal, adding a layer of flavour you won't find anywhere else in the Wild Turkey range.
