Established by Dr. Gal Kalkshtein and shaped by the late Dr. Jim Swan, one of the most influential whisky consultants of his generation, M&H was built on the conviction that Israel's hot Mediterranean climate could produce world-class single malt whisky.

For the Elements Sherry Cask, M&H travelled to Spain and commissioned Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry to be made specifically for them. The casks were filled with quality sherry and seasoned for one year in Spain before being shipped to Tel Aviv, where M&H's new-make spirit was filled and matured under Israel's intense heat. This accelerated maturation extracts deep flavour from the sherry-seasoned wood at a rate impossible to achieve in cooler climates.

The Elements Sherry Cask is also the world's first and only kosher single malt whisky aged in sherry casks, produced under strict kosher supervision throughout the entire process from grain to bottle.
