Upon arriving in Kentucky, the opportunity to select a Penelope X Single Barrel was truly exciting, given how new the program is. Â Presented with a diverse array of casks; we were immediately drawn to the Oloroso Cask finish. It t preserved the essence of exceptional Bourbon while adding nuanced layers from the finishing casks. This particular barrel exceeded expectations, delivering a remarkable palate, with a nose and finish that invite you to indulge repeatedly.Â
