Ranked #6 on Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 Whiskies of 2024,
Booker's 2024-01known as the “Springfield Batch,” is the first release of 2024 from the celebrated Booker's Bourbon line. This uncut, unfiltered bourbon continues the legacy of Booker Noe, sixth-generation Master Distiller, delivering an intense and authentic flavor experience.
The bourbon is crafted using a small-batch process, staying true to Booker Noe’s philosophy of producing whiskey “the way it was meant to be.” This batch is aged for 7 years, 1 month, and 12 days, achieving the ideal maturity for a rich and complex flavor profile. Aging occurs in prime locations of Jim Beam’s rickhouses, where the barrels benefit from optimal temperature and humidity variations.
Barrels selected for Booker's are evaluated for their exceptional quality, chosen specifically for their flavour potential. Booker's Bourbon is bottled at cask strength, with this batch coming in at 124.5 proof (62.25% ABV). It is unfiltered, preserving the natural oils and compounds that contribute to its bold, full-bodied character.
