Overview
Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey, Five Oak Cask Release | JamesonMidleton, County Cork, Ireland  ·  46% ABV  ·  700ml  ·  Five Oak Cask Release

Jameson Single Pot Still is a genuine departure from the usual Jameson blend. Most Jameson whiskey mixes pot still and grain whiskey together, but this one is 100% pot still, made from malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled for that classic pot still spiciness and silky texture.

It's called the Five Oak Cask Release because it's matured across five different cask types, Irish, European and American virgin oak, plus ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The result is a whiskey that's both complex and smooth.

Distillery Information

Jameson is made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland. Most of the Jameson range blends pot still whiskey with grain whiskey, but Single Pot Still strips that back to just the pot still character, the traditional style that gave Irish whiskey its name.

Malted and unmalted barley go through triple distillation, then the whiskey spends time in five different cask types before bottling, adding layers of spice, fruit and oak you don't get in the standard blend

Why we curate it

Single Pot Still shows a different side of Jameson, one built entirely on pot still character rather than a blend. Triple distilled, matured in five cask types, and packed with spice, chocolate and fruit. A genuinely interesting bottle for anyone who thought they knew what Jameson tastes like.
