Produced by Clase Azul Mexico (NOM 1416) in the Jalisco Highlands, same as the rest of the range. What's different here is the cook. Instead of the usual brick horno, the agave for Blanco Ahumado goes into a traditional pit oven, dug into the ground and lined with firewood and volcanic rock. It's an old-school method that's mostly been phased out across the industry, and it's exactly where the smoke comes from.

Every Clase Azul release doubles as a piece of craft work, and this one's no different. The smoked glass bottle and dark ceramic base are a direct nod to the process itself.
