Bearface Triple Oak is a single grain Canadian whisky built on a 7-year American oak base, then finished sequentially in French oak red wine casks and virgin Hungarian oak. Each wood adds a distinct layer before the whisky moves to the next.

The elemental aging method is what makes the production unusual. Casks mature in repurposed shipping containers placed in the Canadian wilderness, exposed to extreme seasonal temperature swings that accelerate wood interaction. The result is a whisky that drinks well above its price point.

Bearface is a Canadian whisky brand built around elemental aging. Rather than maturing casks in a conventional warehouse, casks are placed in repurposed shipping containers exposed to the Canadian wilderness, where extreme seasonal temperature swings drive a more intense interaction between whisky and wood.

Triple Oak runs through three sequential stages: seven years in ex-bourbon American oak, then French oak red wine casks, then virgin Hungarian oak toasted three different ways. Each stage adds a specific layer of flavour, which is where the cranberry and pear from the French oak and the spice from the Hungarian oak come from.
