Originally launched in the late 1800s, Green River was once known as the “most expensive whiskey ever sold before Prohibition.” Today, it’s proudly distilled at the newly revitalised Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky — one of the oldest federally licensed distilleries in the state.
Bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV), it uses a traditional mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, resulting in a balanced and easy-drinking profile.
