Distillery Information

Bernheim Original is named for Heaven Hill's Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, the largest independent, family owned bourbon distillery in the world. Heaven Hill's distillers created it as a genuinely new category of American whiskey rather than a variation on an existing one, leading with wheat instead of corn or rye.

Seven years in traditional open rickhouses gives it time to mellow into something smooth and approachable, keeping the wheat forward character that sets it apart from the rest of Heaven Hill's whiskey lineup.
