High West The Prisoner's Share Blended Whiskey is an exceptional blend of aged straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys that were carefully finished in ex-wine barrels previously used to store The Prisoner Red Blend wine.   

Aged between 4 and 15 years, The High West Prisoner's boasts a rich and complex flavour profile. On the palate, notes of sweetly preserved raspberries, aged mahogany, and pepper are prominent, with a vintage French oak splendour and a hint of succulent wine. This rare and collectible whiskey is composed of an undisclosed mash bill and is highly coveted.

Distillery Information

High West and The Prisoner Wine Company both sit under Constellation Brands, and Prisoner's Share is what happens when the two teams work together. It first appeared in 2022, came back in 2023, then took a year off before this 2025 edition.

Straight bourbon and rye whiskeys, some as old as 12 years, get finished in French oak barrels that previously held The Prisoner Red Blend wine, adding a layer of dark fruit and spice you won't find in a standard release.
