Wild Turkey 101 is the bourbon that's built the brand's reputation, made the same way for over 60 years by Master Distiller Jimmy Russell. Aged 6 to 8 years in barrels with the deepest No. 4 alligator char, it comes out of the barrel at around 109 proof and only needs a slight cut to reach its signature 101.

High rye content gives it a bit of a bite alongside the sweetness, and it holds up well whether you're drinking it neat or building a proper Old Fashioned.

Distillery Information

Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky has been making 101 the same way for over 60 years. It's aged in American white oak barrels with the heaviest char the distillery uses, giving it that unmistakable colour and character.

Wild Turkey only runs one bourbon mash bill, and the Russell family shapes every other release in the range from that same base. 101 is where it all starts.
