It's called the Five Oak Cask Release because it's matured across five different cask types, Irish, European and American virgin oak, plus ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The result is a whiskey that's both complex and smooth.

Distillery Information

Jameson is made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland. Most of the Jameson range blends pot still whiskey with grain whiskey, but Single Pot Still strips that back to just the pot still character, the traditional style that gave Irish whiskey its name.

Malted and unmalted barley go through triple distillation, then the whiskey spends time in five different cask types before bottling, adding layers of spice, fruit and oak you don't get in the standard blend
