Ross & Squibb Distillery has been distilling in Lawrenceburg, Indiana since 1847, back when the town was putting out more rye than anywhere else in the country. Before Prohibition, 96 percent of the liquor Americans drank was rye whiskey, and Lawrenceburg's limestone filtered water gave it a clean, bold, spicy character no other region could match. Rossville Union brings that history back with whiskey made the same way, in one of America's last Prohibition era distilleries.
