When you combine brands like Sazerac, Buffalo Trace and Barton in making a bourbon, you know it's going to be outstanding. That's why we have created the 1792 tasting box, giving you the chance to compare three expressions side by side.
1792 Bourbon is produced at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in the United States, with roots dating back to 1879. The brand takes its name from the year Kentucky was admitted to the Union.
Owned by the Sazerac Company, the distillery sits on over 196 acres and is home to dozens of aging warehouses, including some of the oldest rickhouses still in use in the industry. The 1792 range is known for its high-rye mashbill that underpins the core lineup, though the brand has expanded into experimental and limited releases, such as Sweet Wheat, Full Proof, and Single Barrel, which showcase the distillery's production team's versatility and craftsmanship.
With a strong reputation among bourbon enthusiasts for offering exceptional quality at an accessible price point, 1792 has become one of the standout names in the increasingly competitive premium American whiskey category.
