Rock Hill Farms Single Barrel Bourbon – A Hidden Gem of Kentucky Elegance
Rock Hill Farms Single Barrel Bourbon is one of Buffalo Trace’s most sought-after sleeper hits—an elegant, full-bodied expression that embodies the finesse of traditional Kentucky craftsmanship. Named after a historic stretch of farmland along the Kentucky River, this single-barrel release is drawn from a select few barrels of high-rye mashbill bourbon, offering rich complexity and bold character.
Bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof), Rock Hill Farms delivers a powerful yet refined profile. On the nose, expect a bouquet of ripe orchard fruit, sweet vanilla, and toasted oak. The palate brings layers of toffee, dark cherries, cinnamon spice, and caramelised sugar, underpinned by a warming rye spice that adds structure without overpowering the sweetness. Its finish is long, silky, and perfectly balanced, offering a crescendo of spice, oak, and honey.
Often compared to its more famous siblings like Blanton’s or Elmer T. Lee, Rock Hill Farms flies under the radar—but for collectors and connoisseurs, it’s a unicorn worth chasing. Each bottle is hand-selected and showcases unique barrel character, making every sip a true original.
Hard to find. Easy to love. Rock Hill Farms is bourbon with pedigree and presence.
