  • High-rye mash bill gives it more spice than a typical wheated or standard bourbon

  • Priced to actually pour, not just collect
  • The entry point to the Old Grand-Dad range before Bonded and 114
Distillery Information

Old Grand-Dad is named after Basil Hayden Sr, a well-known distiller whose grandson, Raymond B. Hayden, started bottling the bourbon in 1882 in his honour. It continued through Prohibition, and James B. Beam Distilling Co. acquired the brand in 1987. Still made on the same high-rye recipe that made it famous.
