This release is a blend of straight bourbons aged 5, 6, 7, and 9 years, sourced from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana, and bottled at a bold 58.3% ABV without chill filtration.

Barrell Batch 033 opens with an inviting nose of baked apple, butterscotch, nutmeg, and toasted coconut, layered with deeper notes of molasses and leather. On the palate, it’s rich and full-bodied—think dark chocolate, cinnamon bark, pecan pie, and a hint of orange zest. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of rye spice, vanilla bean, and seasoned oak.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Pear, lemon meringue, and shoofly pie deftly balanced between freshness and maturity. Jasmine, nasturtium, and dandelion speak to a youthful exuberance, while peppermint and gentian root depict an oak barrel.

PALATE: Champagne, applesauce, and candied grapefruit peel without an excessive oak. The baking spice dominate, - cocoa powder, allspice, star anise, and juniper.

FINISH: A burst of heat rides a wave across the palate. elderflower, and chamomile reinforce the nose’s bouquet.
