Jura 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

$79.00
Overview
Single Malt Scotch Whisky · 700ml

Jura 10 is the bottle that gets most people started on Jura, and it’s an easy one to like. Ten years in ex-bourbon barrels, then a finish in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. The bourbon oak brings vanilla and sweetness, the sherry adds dark chocolate and fruit, and there’s a light touch of smoke in the background. Bottled at 40%.

Sweet, smooth and good value. A solid pick if you’re just getting into single malt, and still a handy bottle to have around if you already know what you like.

Distillery Information

Jura is made on the Isle of Jura, off Scotland’s west coast. The distillery uses exceptionally tall stills, which help give the spirit its light, smooth style. The 10 Year Old was launched in 2018 when Jura refreshed its core range, taking over from Jura Origin. Even the bottle has a story, originally shaped to survive the rough trip off the island.
