Kentucky Owl's Wiseman Bourbon blends the distillery's own wheated and high-rye whiskies with older sourced Kentucky bourbon, up to 8.5 years old. Rated 95 points by Tasting Panel Magazine and 92 points by Whiskey Advocate, it's also picked up Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition two years running. It's the first release under Master Blender John Rhea, and it shows what Kentucky Owl can do when it leans into blending rather than a single mash bill.

Distillery Information

Kentucky Owl's been around since 2014 and was picked up by Stoli Group in 2017. Wiseman Bourbon is blended from bourbon contract-distilled at Bardstown Bourbon Company, mixing younger wheated and high-rye whiskies with older sourced Kentucky stock. It's the first release put together under Master Blender John Rhea.
