E.H. Taylor Single Barrel is one of the most respected bottles in the modern bourbon world. Every bottle is drawn from a single barrel aged in Warehouse C at Buffalo Trace, a warehouse Colonel Taylor himself built back in 1881. No blending, no smoothing things over. Just one barrel, in the bottle, the way it was meant to be.

Bottled at 100 proof under the Bottled-in-Bond standard, it brings serious depth without going overboard. Caramel, vanilla, and oak with a soft hit of spice and a long, warming finish. A proper step up for anyone moving past the usual shelf bottles.

Tasting Notes

Palate: Smooth and rounded. Caramel and vanilla up front, followed by oak, a touch of pepper, and a soft hit of spice. The 100 proof gives it weight without burning.

Distillery Information

Buffalo Trace Distillery sits on the banks of the Kentucky River in Frankfort and has been making bourbon for over 200 years. It's one of the oldest fully operating distilleries in America and home to some of the most respected bourbons on the market.

Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. is one of the most important figures in American whiskey history. He helped push through the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, the original American mark of quality, enacted to guarantee whiskey was the real deal. This release sits in the upper tier of the Buffalo Trace range and leans hard into that legacy. Warehouse C, the warehouse it's aged in, was built by Taylor himself.
