It meets the strict Bottled-in-Bond rules, which means it's the product of one distilling season, one distillery, aged at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at exactly 100 proof. No shortcuts, no funny business.

The result is a fuller, richer pour. Caramel and vanilla up front, plenty of oak, and a proper kick of rye spice on the back end. A solid step up from your usual shelf bottle and a bourbon that knows what it is.

Barton 1792 Distillery sits in Bardstown, Kentucky, right in the heart of bourbon country. It's one of the oldest fully operating distilleries in the state, with whiskey-making roots on the same site going back well over a century. The distillery is now part of the Sazerac family.

The Bottled in Bond expression sits in the upper tier of the 1792 range. The Bottled-in-Bond Act dates back to 1897 and was the original American mark of quality, enacted to guarantee that whiskey was the real deal. 1792 leans into that tradition with this release.
