Barton 1792 Distillery sits in Bardstown, Kentucky, right in the heart of bourbon country. It's one of the oldest fully operating distilleries in the state, with whiskey-making roots on the same site going back well over a century. The distillery is now part of the Sazerac family.

1792 Small Batch is the flagship of the 1792 range. The bottle was originally launched as Ridgemont Reserve 1792 before being rebranded simply as 1792. The number is a nod to the year Kentucky joined the Union, and the whole range plays on that bit of history.
