Stagg Barrel Proof Batch "24B”
Stagg Batch 24B is a powerhouse bourbon crafted for those who love intensity, depth, and authenticity. From the legendary Buffalo Trace Distillery, this uncut and unfiltered release sits at a bold 63.9% ABV (127.8 proof), delivering the raw, unbridled flavour that defines the Stagg lineage.
Believed to be aged 7–9 years, this batch showcases the iconic balance of power and richness that bourbon collectors crave. It’s the kind of pour that rewards patience and curiosity — a whisky that invites you to slow down, take notice, and savour every layer.
Originally launched in 2013 as Stagg Jr, this label was designed as a younger, more accessible sibling to the ultra-rare George T. Stagg , part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC). Each “Jr.” batch was barrel proof, unfiltered, and aged around 7–9 years, compared to the 15–17-year-old George T. Stagg. Despite being “junior” in age, it packed massive flavour, intensity, and collector appeal. In 2022, Buffalo Trace dropped the “Junior” name, officially rebranding the line as simply “Stagg.” The reasoning was simple: the whiskey had matured in both quality and reputation — no longer the understudy, but a premium release in its own right.
