Cantera Negra Blanco is a 100% blue agave tequila out of the Highlands of Jalisco, bottled unaged straight off the still. No barrel time means what you get is the agave itself, fresh and clean, with a bit of citrus and an earthy, mineral edge from the volcanic soil it's grown in.

Crisp, a touch sweeter than most blancos, and easy to drink neat or in a cocktail.

Smooth, with a solid oak backbone. Good for sipping or as the base of a proper cocktail.

Distillery Information

Cantera Negra is made at Cavas de Don Max, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1554) in Las Pintas, Los Altos, the Highlands region of Jalisco. The method behind it was developed by Don Alberto Becherano over more than 40 years. The brand itself now sits with Two Sons Imports, with Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits on board as global sales and marketing partner since late 2022.
