Bottled at 55.6% ABV (111.2 proof) and non-chill filtered, Barrell Batch 31 offers an intricate, multi-layered profile that’s both approachable and deeply rewarding.
The nose opens with honeycomb, red berries, and vanilla custard, underpinned by roasted peanuts, leather, and spice. On the palate, it’s rich and textured—caramelised banana, toffee, gingerbread, and orange marmalade lead into more savoury notes of charred oak, clove, and cracked pepper. The Barrell Batch finish is long and resonant, with a delightful interplay of sweet baking spices and earthy undertones.
