Cooking in brick hornos rather than in autoclaves takes significantly longer but yields a more developed, rounded agave character. NOSE: Fresh agave, grapefruit, lime zest, and a light floral sweetness. Bright and clean with no harsh edges.

Produced at Destileria La Primavera in Atotonilco el Alto, Jalisco Highlands (NOM 1449). Don Julio Gonzalez founded the distillery in 1942 with the goal of making premium tequila in an era when most production prioritised volume over quality. That mindset is still reflected in how the range is made today, even under Diageo ownership.

The Highland location consistently produces agave with higher sugar content and a naturally sweeter, fruitier character than valley-grown plants. For a blanco, where there's no oak to fall back on, that quality of raw material makes all the difference.
