The highly regarded Michter's 10 year old rye. This is a single barrel product with each bottle being different to one another. Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Rye Whiskey boasts all the defining characteristics of a superior rye, earning it the title of King of the rye whiskey elite.

Michter's has grown throughout the last two decades into a beloved bourbon brand across the world. Originally having roots in Pennsylvania before being closed in the late 80's, the brand was revived just before 2000 utilising sourced whisky from various distilleries. They then moved to contract distillation, rumoured to be at the Old Forester distillery, before their own site was completed in 2016 and the Fort Nelson experience opened in 2019 for visitors.

TASTING NOTES

Nose:
Crème brûlée with sweet and savoury spices, then rye spice, honey, and oak. The aroma is exquisite, offering scents that complement each other perfectly.

Palate
Buttery mouthfeel with toffee, orange rind, and vanilla. It Aged oak, sweet bread, custard, honey, and golden raisin flavours, creating a well-balanced and elegant palate. Masterful

Finish
Notes of red fruits, confectioner's sugar, and buttercream. Then Graham crackers, maple, and rye spice, finishing with aged oak. Balanced.
