Unlike other whiskies, where the vintage tells you when the whisky went into the cask (with grain from any year), Fielden Harvest 2019 Rye Whisky vintage means the whisky is made from the same grain harvest.
The spirit in Fielden Harvest 2019 Rye Whisky was fermented for up to five days and double-distilled using both pot and column stills, before being matured for 38 months in a complex mix of casks: second-fill American oak, shaved and re-charred (STR) barrels, Sauternes barriques, and rare Ramandolo wine barrels. The final blend was slowly married and proofed to 50% ABV over 82 days for optimal balance.
