History

Founded in 1997 by Trey Zoeller and his father Chet, Jefferson’s celebrates curiosity and craftsmanship. Named after Thomas Jefferson, a man of exploration and refinement, the brand’s hallmark is pushing the boundaries of what bourbon can be — from ocean voyages to experimental cask finishes.

Distilling Process

Jefferson’s sources premium Kentucky bourbon and finishes it through creative aging methods. Their famous “Aged at Sea” series sends barrels around the globe, letting temperature shifts, humidity, and ocean waves transform the whiskey’s character.

What Makes Jefferson’s Unique

Innovation. Each “Voyage” is a unique batch, shaped by maritime movement. Beyond the Ocean series, Jefferson’s also crafts limited editions like Jefferson’s Reserve, Twin Oak, and Chef’s Collaboration,  each showcasing boundary-pushing maturity and depth.
