Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey is a tribute to a true American whiskey pioneer – Nathan “Nearest” Green, the formerly enslaved man who taught Jack Daniel the craft of distilling. This award-winning Tennessee whiskey is crafted with care by a team led by Green’s descendants and curated by Master Blender Victoria Eady Butler, a fifth-generation Green family member.
Each small batch of Uncle Nearest 1884 is hand-selected for its character, balance, and complexity. Bottled at 93 proof (46.5% ABV), it opens with aromas of honeyed caramel, toasted oak, and fresh-baked biscuits.
