Sagamore Small Batch is a new addition to our market, replacing the discontinued Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye.
Sagamore Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey is a bold and balanced American rye that reflects the rich whiskey-making tradition of Maryland, once considered the rye capital of the U.S. Crafted in Baltimore, Sagamore’s signature style is smooth, spicy, and approachable, making it a favourite among both classic rye drinkers and newcomers.
This small batch release is a blend of two distinct straight rye mash bills: a high-rye recipe and a low-rye recipe. Together, they create a layered and harmonious profile. The whiskey is aged for 4 to 6 years in new, charred American oak barrels, then proofed with limestone-filtered spring water from Sagamore Farm, just outside of Baltimore.
Bottled at 48.3% ABV (96.6 proof), Sagamore Small Batch is perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks, or mixing into a bold Old Fashioned or Manhattan. A versatile and award-winning rye that showcases the revival of Maryland-style whiskey with modern craftsmanship.
