The Bivouac is a "high malted barley" straight bourbon distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky - the world capital of Bourbon. This whiskey is a blend of two bourbons, 95% of the blend is distilled from mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye, 8% malted barley, aged a minimum of 3 years. The remaining 5% is distilled from a high malted barley mash 72% corn, 13% rye, 15% malted barley, aged for at least 5 years, for added complexity.
Hirsch The Horizon is a "high rye" straight bourbon distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Each bottle of this small batch bourbon is identified with a batch number on the tax strip and updated whiskey specifications on the back of the bottle. A classic bourbon profile with sweet cornbread and vanilla on the nose. The palate is balanced with warm notes of cinnamon and oak. A slight lingering sweetness on the finish.
