The GlenAllachie Meikle Tòir Sherry One is a luxurious and richly peated single malt that marries the boldness of smoke with the opulence of sherry cask maturation. Crafted by Billy Walker, is peated to 35ppm using mainland peat—offering a sweeter, earthier smoke profile—and fully matured in premium Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Jerez, Spain.
GlenAllachie Meikle Tòir is bottled at 48% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, GlenAllachie Meikle Tòir Sherry One is a celebration of balance—peat and sherry working in harmony rather than competition. It’s a whisky that delivers power and finesse in equal measure.
This full-term sherry maturation adds layers of depth and richness. On the nose, expect dark dried fruits, treacle, espresso, and smouldering oak. Rhe GlenAllachie Meikle Tòir palate is beautifully textured, revealing flavours of spiced figs, stewed plums, leather, toasted walnuts, and waves of warming smoke. The finish is long and luxurious, with lingering notes of smoky toffee and dark chocolate.
