The 72-hour brick horno cook is longer than most commercial operations allow for, and the difference shows in the flavour. Produced by Clase Azul México (NOM 1416) in the Jalisco Highlands, the same high-altitude growing region that produces agave with naturally higher sugar content and a sweeter, fruitier character. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick hornos for 72 hours, which develops a deeper, more rounded flavour than faster autoclave methods allow.

Every bottle is hand-painted and hand-numbered by artisans in the town of Santa María Canchesda, Puebla. It's a genuine craft process on top of a genuine tequila, and the combination is what justifies the price point. You're buying both a quality spirit and a piece of Mexican craft work.
