Cantera Negra Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from the Highlands of Jalisco, aged a minimum of 7 months in a mix of ex-cognac and ex-bourbon barrels. That combination pushes more oak into the glass than your average reposado, with roasted agave, vanilla, and a hint of citrus sitting underneath.

Smooth, with a solid oak backbone. Good for sipping or as the base of a proper cocktail.

Cantera Negra is made at Cavas de Don Max, S.A. de C.V. (NOM 1554) in Las Pintas, Los Altos, the Highlands region of Jalisco. The method behind it was developed by Don Alberto Becherano over more than 40 years. The brand itself now sits with Two Sons Imports, with Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits on board as global sales and marketing partner since late 2022.
