This is an award winning bourbon from Rabbit Tale, which is know as Rabbit Hole in the USA. Same bottle, Same distiller, same nectar. just a different name.

The Rabbit Tale  Cavehill is matured in toasted  and charred barrels.  The tasting coaxes the sugares  out of the wood to mingle with the distillate. This gives the whiskey complexity and flavour. When sipped you experience, honey, mint and creamy orange. when the Rabbit Tale Cavehill falls to the back of your palate, you get vanilla and custard.

TASTING NOTES

Nose:
Spice, Honey, Fresh Apples. Slight ethanol goes away quickly into a sweet malt. Soft, honeyed malt, some spice. Cornbread develops with air, as does dried apple.

Palate:
Lots of honey malt and cornbread with a moderate heat. Chewing reveals some cereal notes, toasted malt, and a wheated profile. Mouthfeel is coating and oily with a tingle that sticks around the tongue.

Finish:
Vanilla and custard and corn. Medium length
