Made primarily from American and Canadian rye whiskeys, Barrell Craft Seagrass is finished in a trio of casks—Martinique rhum, Madeira, and apricot brandy barrels—each adding a distinct layer of complexity. Bottled at cask strength, usually around 59–60% ABV, it’s unfiltered and unflinching in its expression.
On the nose, Barrell Craft Seagrass is tropical and enticing—pear, ripe melon, lemon zest, and grassy florals burst forward, underscored by notes of ginger and saline minerality.
