JACK DANIELS Master Distiller Series – Bottles 2 -5
Making its debut in September of 2012, this current series of bottles celebrates the 7 Master Distillers throughout the history of the Jack Daniel Distillery. Each bottle is filled with 86 proof whiskey. They are also each individually numbered and sold in a collectible box. For display purposes, when 2 boxes are put side-by-side they complete an image of the Master Distiller being commemorated.
- Master Distiller No. 2: Jess Motlow – This special bottling celebrates Mr. Jess Motlow, who saw the Distillery through Prohibition.
- Master Distiller No. 3: Lem Tolley – As Mr. Jack’s grandnephew Lem carried a determination to continue the tradition of making Jack Daniel’s with the consistency of those before him
- Master Distiller No. 4: Jess Gamble – Jess was the first of the head distillers to come from outside Jack’s family. Even so, he made sure the whiskey was made and mellowed Mr. Jack’s way.
- Master Distiller No. 5: Frank Bobo – Under Frank, the company soared, without its quality being compromised.
